Leadership Development Lab
The Leadership Development Lab is one of Catalyst Impact Strategies’ premier signature programs designed specifically for federal leaders, branch chiefs, and rising agency supervisors. In this ten-week intensive, leaders are guided through an in-depth diagnosis and structured reflection directly aligned with their agency's mission and individual leadership context.
The weekly modules are centered on The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® developed by James M. Kouzes and Barry Z. Posner (Model the Way, Inspire a Shared Vision, Challenge the Process, Enable Others to Act, and Encourage the Heart). Each week focuses on actionable leadership behaviors, providing learners the opportunity to apply enhanced communication, trust-building, and accountability practices in real time with their teams.
The course culminates in a capstone exercise resulting in a
90-Day Leadership Action Plan,
a formal Leadership Commitment Statement, and a
Certificate of Completion
(Level 1 Catalyst Leader).
The program includes a copy of the 7th edition of The Leadership Challenge by
James M. Kouzes and Barry Z. Posner, a Leadership Challenge Commitment Card, and 20 hours of live virtual classroom engagement facilitated by a Certified Leadership
Challenge Facilitator.
Cost: $5,000 per student.
This program is optimized for intact agency leadership cohorts and supervisory teams of 3–5 learners.
